Core B (Metabolomics Component) - Project Narrative The metabolomics core will support the investigators of this Program Project by providing support for the analysis of small molecules or metabolites using advanced detection methods employing mass spectrometry. Both steady state levels of metabolites, as well as activity of metabolic pathways will be measured. The core will also support associated data analysis and interpretation through cooperation with the Bioinformatics/Statistics component of Core A.
