Automation is essential for increasing the thoughput of the BioCAT SAXS beamline. We proposed to implement automated SAXS measurements in both equilibrium and kinetic modes at BioCAT. Test applications were on protein folding. We integrated the control of syringe pumps with shutters and data acquisition.
