Public Health Relevance

The Core provides support for this multidisciplinary program project focusing on human narcolepsy, a disorder affecting 150,000-250,000 Americans. To support this research the personnel in the Core administers and co-ordinates research activities, recruits human narcolepsy patients and controls for DNA samples and maintains the database housing the information from these samples.
