Public Health Relevance

Each USPHS Scientific and Training Symposium over the next 5 years is expected to draw more than 1500 public health professionals from around the country and will have as an objective the identification and development of implementation strategies for solutions to the issues under discussion. This is the only cross-discipline training opportunity focused on the leadership provided by the Public Health Service. It is the pre-eminent event of its kind in the nation-offering an incomparable range of continuing education seminars on the latest trends and innovations in public health care delivery, administration and research. The 2009 conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia June 1-4, 2009. The next four conferences are tentatively scheduled as follows: 2010 in the Denver or San Diego area;2011 in the DC Metro/Mid-Atlantic Region;2012 in the South West (Phoenix/Dallas) area;and 2013 in Anchorage, Alaska.
