Public Health Relevance

Physician scientists are critical to the translation of major scientific advances to improved medical evaluation and treatment. However, there is a shortage of well trained physician scientists, particularly in areas of pediatric pulmonology and hematology. This proposal focuses on recruiting and training medical students to help address that shortage.
