KENTUCKYCABINETFORHEALTHANDFAMILYSERVICES,DEPARTMENTFORPUBLICHEALTH RFA?FD?17?005 CONFORMANCEWITHTHEMANUFACTUREDFOODREGULATORYPROGRAMSTANDARDS(MFRPS)(U18) SUMMARY ThegoaloftheKentuckyFoodSafetyBranchcontinuestobeanactiveparticipantinthenationally integratedfoodprotectionsystem.Chiefinaccomplishingthisgoal,aswellasthegoalofcontinuing programimprovement,isparticipationintheMFRPS.ThefiveyearCooperativeFundingAgreementhas allowedourstatefoodprotectionprogramtoaddressmanyoftheidentifiedgapsandobstacles identifiedandhasallowedouragencytoimplementafully?functionalMFRPSprograminKentuckyand willultimatelyallowourstatetoachieveandsustainsignificanttofullconformancewiththeMFRPS.
