A dedicated administrative infrastructure will be established to oversee and manage the Infrastructure and Opportunities Fund (IOF). This Core will assume responsibility for managing the IOF, including disbursement and tracking of IOF funds, establishing an administrative structure to manage the IOF, and reporting on the status of IOF projects and expenditures to the NIAID and HIPC Steering Committee. A full time administrator will be appointed to interface with each of the U19 Program Directors and with the HIPC Steering Committee, under the supervision of Dr. Garca-Sastre, co-I in the Dengue Human Immunology Project Consortium (DHIPC), and member of the DHIPC Executive Committee. This individual's responsibility will be to implement the utilization of the IOF under direction of the HIPC Steering Committee.
