Dr. Lisa A. Pruitt is a professor of Biomedical Engineering at University of California at Berkley. Mentoring is a significant part of the undergraduate research program in Biomedical Engineering and is incorporated into the development of curriculum in this program. A training aspect to her program seeks to develop mentoring skills in students who may serve as peer mentors. Dr. Pruitt serves as a mentor and as an excellent role model.
