The purpose of this study is to test a method for measuring the amount of a drug removed from the body through the gallbladder. The extent of drug removal through the gallbladder is difficult to measure and often is unknown, but it may greatly affect how long a drug stays in the body and how often a drug should be administered. We hope to use this tool to enable measurement of drug removal through the gallbladder. Ultimately, we plan to correlate the results of this study with results from a cell culture technique, which in turn may be used to predict gallbladder drug removal in humans.
