Specific Aim #1 : To compare the physical activity level and sedentary behavior of children with chronic cardiac conditions to that of healthy children.
Specific Aim #2 : To evaluate the physical activity level in relation to central (cardiopulmonary function) and peripheral (skeletal muscle and catecholamine and cytokine responses) mechanisms of exercise intolerance.
Specific Aim #3 : To assess the effect of short-term exercise training on cardiopulmonary capacity, muscle volume, catecholamine and cytokine responses to exercise and quality of life measures.
