Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the degree to which hypothyroidism constitutes an arrhythmogenic substrate, predominately by its effects on ventricular depolarization. Two groups of hypothyroid patients are to be studied for the prevalence of arrhythmias on ambulatory monitoring along with electrocardiographic changes.
