This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. This study proposes to examine: (1) The relationship between the results of the 18-22 month corrected age Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), administered by the parents, with the results of the professionally administered 18-22 month corrected age Bayley Scales of Infant Development II (BSID II). (2) If developmental trends, as determined by the parent-administered ASQ at 4 age points (4, 8, 12, and 18 months corrected age), predict the results obtained on the Bayley Scales of Infant Development (BSID II) professionally administered at the 18-22 month corrected age.
