Core A will provide scientific and administrative leadership to the Program Project Grant. Specificresponsibilities of the Core include: 1) Coordinate administrative and fiscal management of the entire Program Project Grant. 2) Provide research coordination and to develop and execute internal and external review. 3) Ensure compliance of all clinical trials with National Cancer Center, Institutional Review Board, State of California and Food and Drug Administration rules and regulations. 4) Coordinate long term follow-up of patients transplanted on trials supported by this Grant. 5) Ensure equal access of female and minority patients to clinical trials.Core A personnel will achieve these goals with dedicated personnel and outstanding external reviewers. Aseries of meetings, correspondence and procedures will ensure that the research executed within thisProgram Project Grant is performed at the highest scientific and ethical standards.
