This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. To facilitate interactions among experimentalists and theoreticians involved in computational modeling of cell physiology NRCAM organizes a biannual International Symposium on Computational Cell Biology originally held at the Cranwell Resort in Lenox MA. The symposium was initiated by NRCAM in 2001, and hosts ~130 scientists, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students from both experimental and theoretical backgrounds for 3 intensive days of platform presentations, poster sessions, and software workshops.
