This project supports a session on "Tradition and Development in Rural Alaska" at the 15th International Inuit Studies Conference. The session will be produced by six students from the Department of Alaska Native and Rural Development at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In addition, during the conference they will expand their professional networks through exposure to a broad range of international scientists and scholar interested in Arctic research and education.
