This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.Abstract:Since pilot projects have been abrogated from the overall RCMI Program, the Applied Technology and Information Enhancements subproject will use a variety of research methods, including literature-based data-mining research and computer-assisted literature reviews to compile, analyze and draw inferences from corpus of data on variety of diseases to support the Public Health arm of the subproject. To this end, collaboration with external research groups will be sought to strengthen and expedite the investigations at Florida A&M University.
