Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. This study will be evaluating whether there is improvement in controlling diabetes. The investigators will also be looking at the effect and accuracy of C2 monitoring in managing the dosage of Neoral. This regimen of immunosuppression will be compared to patients who remain on tacrolimus with standard drug levels (just prior to morning dose) and careful management of
