Analysis of Genetic Heterogeneity in Fanconi Anemia

Abstract

This autosomal recessive disorder of unknown cause resembles dyskeratosis congenita, and X-linked recessive disorder. Cells from FA and DKC patients, hypertensive to dysfunctional clastogenic alkylating agents and to oxygen-induced free radicals. This is used for prenatal diagnosis of FA. Heterogeneity analysis of euploid somatic cell hybrids.
