Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Determine whether there is a difference in the combined and the composite endpoint of biopsy proven rejection, graft loss or death after 36 months of treatment with Sirolimus or standard treatment. Determine change in cytokine profile intra-graft, in circulating blood and in urine, and change in the fibrosis surface area in percutaneous renal biopsies.
