Test the hypothesis that the change in visceral fat cross-sectional area from baseline to 24 weeks will be greater with testosterone replacement than with placebo in HIV-positive men with abdominal obesity who have mildly to moderately reduced serum testosterone levels. Evaluate the safety and tolerability of this treatment. Evaluate the effect of testosterone replacement on lipid metabolism. Assess regional fat by DEXA and CT. Evaluate the effect of testosterone replacement on lean body mass. Evaluate the effect on waist-to-hip ratio and abdominal circumfrance, evaluate effect on quality of life and body image, and evaluate the 48 week durability of the effect of testosterone replacement.
