Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Examine the safety and efficacy of treatment with three NRTIs verus two NRTIs and one PI, by comparing the proportion of women with HIV in group A and B with virologic suppression to less than or equal to 400 copies per mL at 34 weeks gestation (or the last viral load prior to delivery if this occurs less than or equal to 34 weeks) while continuing on assigned therapy.
