This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Although there are several procedures available to help predict how likely it is that the oocytes in a given woman can be fertilized and result in a normal pregnancy, these tests have a number of limitations. The current study will determine whether a new biomathematical modeling technique (Approximate Entropy) correlates with any or all of the available tests, and whether it will provide improved information.
