The aims of this study are to compare the anesthesia effects, side effects, length of analgesia and incidence of transient radicular irritation [pain in buttocks, thighs, and legs] of intrathecal [into the spinal canal] demerol and intrathecal lidocaine after a post partum tubal ligation.
