This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.Meth is a growing problem in the US and in SC. Craving may be involved in maintenance and/or continued meth use. Brain regions involved in meth cue-reactivity are not mapped out currently. Hence, this proposal promises to provide information that may help us understand meth craving and cue-reactivity, as well as brain regions associated with increased activity.
