This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.This study is seeking to immunize HIV infected patients that are documented to have non-protective titers (0.15 IU/ml) to tetanus. We will then ascertain if these patients are able to mount an antibody response to tetanus immunization. Subjects will be screened and followed for 180 days to determine their level of response to diphtheria tetanus vaccination.
