Dr. Jeffry Cook (PI) will serve as the director of this facility with Dr. Gary Brewer as associate director(Co-PI). The imaging facility consists of an Amersham Biosciences 9410 variable mode imager. Thisinstrument can detect and analyze fluorescent, chemiluminescent and radioactive signals. All members of the Program Project will use the instrument without charge for facility use. Otherinvestigators pay an annual user fee of $400 to help cover the cost of the Service Contract. The directorwill train members of the Program Project and any of their staff at periodic training sessions.Appropriate supplies will be provide by the program to cover the costs of its use.Investigators who wish to use the facility will be trained by the director of the facility and/or his staff.
