This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The National Center for Genome Resources, NCGR, of Santa Fe, New Mexico serves as a sub-contractor for the mandated Bioinformatic Core of the New Mexico INBRE research program. The NCGR team is composed of software, science, project management, and infrastructure support staff. All have experience in bioinformatics and in web resource creation and management. In the fulfillment of the INBRE goals, NCGR serves as an expert bioinformatics advisor to all New Mexican INBRE researchers. NCGR provides assistance with bioinformatic tool selection, installation, and training. NCGR provides educational resources, including hosting seminars and symposiums, for INBRE researchers. NCGR also hosts the INBRE web site and augments the web content, especially that relating to bioinformatics.
