This is a jointly funded operation by the Deans office in the College of Medicine and the COBRE funds. It will supply space with state-of-the-art equipment for the handling of mice infected with various pathogens that require special precautions. This includes a barrier facility with air-lock entrance, pass-through autoclave, microtomes, tissue culture hoods, incubators, and microscopes that are dedicated to the facility.
