The Cytokine Analysis Shared Resource provides investigators at the FHCRC with access to state-of-the-art enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays (ELISA) and the equipment and expertise to carry them out. The resource can be utilized by investigators in three ways: First, on a consultation basis, second, by using resource personnel to carry out assays using kits purchased commercially; and third, by having the resource laboratory develop, validate, and place on line assays for specific antigenic proteins. Currently, there are 24 assays of cytokines and other proteins that are available, all of them for human proteins under study by investigators in the Clinical Research, Public Health Sciences, and Molecular Medicine of assays for murine proteins, in collaboration with investigators in Basic Sciences.
