The Imaging Core is dedicated to providing HDDC investigators and their trainees with accessto a variety of imaging methods for analysis of tissue, cellular and subcellular structure. Themethodologies offered by Imaging Core Scientists strongly emphasize the integration of structural, functional and biochemical information. The Core is particularly oriented toward education of Centerscientists and their trainees in the competent and critical application of high-resolution microscopicmethods such as light, confocal and deconvolution microscopy (including live cell capabilities), electronmicroscopy, immunocytochemistry, microfluorimetry and electronic or photographic presentation of highquality structural data.
