The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.New tracers for PET imaging for Parkinson's Disease and other nervous system disorders are needed in order to study the disorders in detail and also to detect them at an early stage. This is essential because in early stages of development most of these disorders are asymptomatic and at later stages of development most of these disorders are difficult to be treated. Novel PET tracers, which are analogs of L-DOPA are being developed.
