This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The goal of this research is to asses in vivo tomosynthesis or undersampled CT for lung perfusion in rats. The imaging studies will assess the way tomosynthesis or undersampled CT can perform 3D imaging and perfusion assesment in the lung using multiple injections of a conventional contrast agent such as Isovue 300. Images can be used to quantify the normal and dysfunctional cases when used with lung disease models in rats.
