This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Users in the Live Cell Imaging Core Facility at UT Southwestern acquire multidimensional datasets (x,y,z,time, wavelength) from high end research microscopes. These datasets routinely exceed 1 Gb and are too large to be visualized interactively, even on high end desktop workstations. We would like to use Amira on Maverick to model these datasets in realtime.
