This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. 2004 saw the expansion of the Topics in Fluorescence Spectroscopy series. Three more volumes were invited and compiled. These include one volume, (Volume 8) dedicated to metal-fluorophore interactions, entitled Radiative Decay Engineering and 2 other volumes dedicated to Fluorescence sensing. Volume 9 is dedicated to Small Molecule Sensing , while Volume 10 is dedicated to Macromolecular Sensing . All three volumes were published by Springer in early January 2005. Two other volumes were also invited in 2004 and due to be published in late 2005. Volume 11 is dedicated to Glucose Sensing , while volume 12 is dedicated to the advances and uses of Green Fluorescent Prot
