This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The proposed Center will provide access to its existing methods as well as newly developed methods through a service component. The analytical services it will provide include a comprehensive set of methods for the analysis of monosaccharides using CE, polysaccharides cleaved from proteins using MS, and glycosylation of tryptic peptides using LC/MS methods. The services offered will also include standard proteomic analyses such as 2D gel electrophoresis, peptide fingerprinting for protein identification, and the analysis of post-translational protein modifications other than glycosylation.
