This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The Center activities will be disseminated through scientific publications and presentations, as well as through a Center web site. Center investigators will target high impact general science and chemistry journals, as well as biological specialty journals. Conferences attended include those dedicated to mass spectrometry, chromatography, and carbohydrates. This list will be expanded to include conferences covering proteomics and glycomics. The Center will use direct mail to life sciences companies and other academic institutions, especially within the state, to help establish collaborations. The Center web site will provide general information about the Center, as well as data, quarterly reports, and access to mass spectrometry data and analysis tools.
