The TCDP will provide a coordinated program of training to develop highly skilled cancercommunication researchers. We have considerable experience and a demonstrated track record in careerdevelopment and mentoring, especially among African American scientists-in-training. In addition to ourhighly successful mentoring component, there are new training seminars available to support manuscriptdevelopment, CECCR small grant funding opportunities to complement our traditional pilot research funding,as well as access to shared resources and funding opportunities through the Siteman Cancer Center.
