Administrative Core. The Principal Investigator, Dr. Gary K. Beauchamp, as PI of the Administrative Core,monitors the general progress and operations of the CCRC and is responsible for the leadership and overall programdirection. He is also responsible for maintaining and facilitating the continued cooperation between the MonellCenter, Thomas Jefferson University, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and other collaborating institutions, at theinstitutional level. In addition, he coordinates the activities of the CCRC with those of the Monell Center as a whole.As Director of the Monell Center, he facilitates the utilization and integration of the CCRC by other scientistsconducting fundamental research at Monell.
