The Administrative Core will support the infrastructure of the Center as described in detail in 'Organizationaland Administrative Structure ' in the Overview of this application.It will enable the smooth functioning of the Center by assisting the Center Director with the dailymanagement of the Center. The Core will organize the meetings of the Steering committee, CenterInvestigators, and Internal and External Advisory Boards. The Core will assist the Center Director inreviewing progress and preparing reports. The Core will provide logistical support for the Center educationalactivities. The Core will aid in the dissemination of scientific information to Center investigators and to thescientific community, and provide logistical support for collaborations with other Centers and attendance tothe annual Udall Center meeting. The Core will play an essential role in facilitating regular interactionsbetween the Center and patient support and advocacy groups.
