Abstract

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The objective of this study is to obtain data from a single dose of TRX1-proline and compare it to concurrent data of TRX1 reference standard. TRX1 should be well tolerated by the animals. TRX1 reference standard is currently in Phase I clinical trials. The sponsor hopes to show the bioequivalence of TRX1-proline and TRX1 reference standard, and use TRX1-proline in Phase II clinical trials.
