Many experiments in the health sciences field generate data, which consist of multiple curves. Currently, there are few options when it comes to statistical analyses of this kind of data. As a result, it can be difficult to conduct an appropriate investigation, which takes into account the full richness of the data. We will develop a statistical package specifically dedicated to analyzing curve data. This software will incorporate a powerful statistical technique called functional data analysis, which is currently not available in commercial quality software. The software will enable scientists and bio statisticians to make complete and proper use of curve data that they have collected, and will have commercial application throughout the health sciences field wherever collections of curves are collected.
