This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing theresources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject andinvestigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed isfor the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The TCNP training effort will be spearheaded by Jonathan Pevsner of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (Dr. Pevsner''''''''s primary appointment is with the nearby Kennedy Krieger Institute), a recognized expert in Bioinformatics. Dr. Pevsner will devote considerable time to organizing an introductory graduate level course in Proteomics to complement an extensive menu of existing coursework in Biochemistry, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. In addition, a high-level course in 'Protein interaction networks and pathways' will be developed under this core by Drs. Bader and Levchenko (see Core 3 above
