The caBIGTM initiative is producing a compendium of applications and tools guided by the core principles of open source, open access, open development and federation of data sources. The scope of this Statement of Work is to create a new task order for providing ongoing support to the caBlG activities. Currently, there are three support task orders supporting the original mission requirement: Development Activities Support (35396), Adoption Activities Support (35398) and Workgroup Participation Support (35399). As the caBIG initiative has evolved, the government has redefined the support activities required to successfully support the success of the mission.Under this Government task order, Booz Allen will provide logistical support to monitor, coordinate and issue subcontract taskings to National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated institutions. These institutions are selected by the National Cancer Institute Center for Bioinformatics (NCICB) to participate in a specific caBIG Workspace to support Grid development. BAH will assist in the development of the work statements. Funding for this participation is provided by the NCICB
