The NCMHD provided funds to the Division of Human Resource Development, National Science Foundation (NSF) to support the Turtle Mountain Native Ways of Knowing Science Teacher Training Project and the Wayawawicakiya Waste (Good Teacher) STEM Teachers of Excellence Education Program (STEEP).
