During the week of July 12-16, 2004, astronomers, biologists, geologists and scientists from several other disciplines will gather in Iceland to attend the 8th International Bioastronomy Conference. While the main theme of the conference will be on Habitable Worlds, topics on planetary astronomy relevant to habitable worlds, e.g. Mars' aqueous environment, Europa, outer planetary satellites, life elsewhere in the Solar System, extrasolar planets, the search for terrestrial planets and related space missions, and the origin and evolution of terrestrial life will be discussed. This NSF award will be used to provide travel grants to students, postdocs and other meeting participants without other means of support. ***
