This Small Grant for Exploratory Research will provide the opportunity to explore a novel millimeter-wave interferometer instrument concept to study the B-mode polarization anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. Detection and study of these anisotropies could lead to the confirmation of a fundamental theory with respect to the origin of the Universe, by providing confirmation of an early inflationary period during cosmic expansion.
