The investigator will deliver a plenary session lecture on sources, detection and remedies for groundwater contamination at the 2nd International Environmental Chemistry Congress in Salvador, Brazil being held from September 16-18, 1987. His work with the Illinois State Water Survey has resulted in production of guides for groundwater sampling and construction of wells that are in wide use internationally.
