This is an award to support conduct of a conference on research needs relating to detoxification of substances that are hazardous to environmental quality. The research needs symposium supported by this award will be part of the 1988 International Symposium on Biological, Physical and Chemical Detoxification of Hazardous Wastes. The conference will be conducted from May 3 to 5 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The sponsoring institutions and agencies for the Conference include the Army Construction Research Laboratory, the Naval Civil Engineering Research Laboratory, and the Hazardous Substance Management Research Center of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
