Travel to Japan and China is carried out in support of continuing research, exploration of new research opportunities, and presentation of research results in the area of computer security. Topics to be discussed include: computer viruses and risk assessment. Travel will also offer the opportunity to assess first-hand the state of computer security research in Japan and China.
