This action is for contunued partial support of the NAS/NRC Committee on Seismology. The activities supported include: (1) the operations of a Working Group on Seismic Networks, (2) study and reporting on seismic hazard analysis, (3) the conduct of meetings of the Committee and its subgroups, (4) initiation of additional studies, as appropriate, and (5) aiding in the establishment of global seismological networks and data analysis facilities.
